What is a Sound Bath?
A sound bath is an immersive and meditative experience where participants are “bathed” in sound waves produced by crystal bowls, drums, chimes, and gongs. These gentle and soothing sounds welcome relaxation, awareness, and healing.
During a sound bath session, you’ll either lay down on a mat or zero gravity chair while I play the instruments in an intuitive and Reiki infused manner. The vibrations of the sound waves move through your body, mind, and energy fields creating harmony and balance with the tones of the instruments.
Sound healing has been practiced across many cultures around the world for hundreds (if not thousands) of years. Modern research suggests that sound baths can influence brain wave activity, reduce stress hormones (cortisol), and slow down the rhythm of the breath.
